'4 Generations of Tommers - 2014' ~ Chris, Brayden, Larry Sr and Nick Tommer


Tommer Construction Company, Inc. is a 3rd generation family run business. It was formed in 1959 by Larry Tommer Sr. and Glenn Corning, in the small town of Bellingham, in Western Washington and relocated to the town of Ephrata in Eastern Washington in 1970. In 1976 ownership began to pass on to his son, Nick and his wife Donna who presently own the business. With the addition of their son Chris, this family has successfully grown from one person and a few pieces of equipment to its present size of 40 employees and several million dollars in equipment. Today, Chris and Jada are working on the day to day operations of the business and continues to maintain the hard work, values and traditions they have learned from their Grandpa and Dad.

Although Tommer Construction has demonstrated abilities in just about every facet of modern construction, it does specialize in rock crushing, road construction, land clearing and leveling, bridge construction and concrete structures. Tommer's also own and operate a portable rock crusher producing over a half million tons of various aggregate per year. They have built anything from an 18-hole Championship Golf Course to recreational ponds to various landscaping jobs. This company has been founded and its success has been built upon hard work, consistent and competitive bidding and building relationships with the people they work with on a daily basis and the people they work for.

With over 60 years experience, Tommer Construction has had the opportunity to work on and for the following various projects and companies as well as the following government agencies, T-Mobile, Intuit & Yahoo, DPR/Fortis Construction, U.S. Forest Service, Railworks Track Systems, Federal Land and Highway Division, MCA Concerts, Federal Highway Administration as well as numerous counties and cities throughout the Pacific Northwest.
